"I only compare myself to two people…”

Mom. Friend. Cousin. Niece. Sister. Daughter. International beauty queen. Pageant coach.

Be bold. Be brilliant. Be beautiful. Toni Burnett lives by these three rules. As an image and personal brand consultant, pageant coach, beauty queen, copy editor, and model, Toni B combined her love of fashion and style with her life's platform: helping women value and love themselves. Known for her confident walk and 100-watt smile, Toni B’s memory lives on to encourage and support others. Whether she was coaching a young woman competing for a title, or producing a runway show, her goal was the same: to rebuild or restore confidence and elevate self-esteem.

"I only compare myself to two people, the person I was yesterday and the person I will be tomorrow."

Born to two proud Guyanese families, Toni B grew up believing it is never enough to just be beautiful; a woman must be a dynamic blend of intelligence, poise, and a great sense of style. Toni entered the competitive modeling industry at just 15 years old. She was also just 15 years old when she produced her first national organization fashion show and vending event. Since then, Toni B worked with over 100 companies and brands, including some of the nation's biggest such as Ann Taylor, Sean John, and the NAACP. She produced over 41 fashion shows and used her unique wealth of industry knowledge to help others excel and reach new career heights. Toni was often be found coaching runway for shows and organizations throughout the United States and Caribbean, as well as behind the judging tables of local, national, and international pageants. Toni B has held many titles such as Campus Next Top Model (NYC), Miss Guyana, Miss Caribbean Metro USA, Ms. Maryland United States, and Ms. United States.

In 2018, Toni B gained the most important title, MOM. She gave birth to Legend and just five weeks later crowned her Successor in the Ms. United States organization. Deciding to continue a modeling career was no easy feat. Toni was determined to raise her son in the most holistic and healthy way possible, starting first with a natural birth and the choice to breastfeed. Her fierce commitment to literacy and wellness during her time as a pageant competitor continued seamlessly with her journey as a mother.

Although her physical body departed this earth in March 2024, Toni continues to pursue her dreams through her family and friends. She knew the only way to her success, her legacy, is if everyone she coaches lives to BE BOLD, BE BRILLIANT, and to BE BEAUTIFUL.
